Literacy Homework 31st
January 2014.
This week in Literacy we have
been looking at how we can change familiar stories. We have taken 'Kidnapped' and changed one thing about the story. Your task this
week is to write a different ending for the story ‘Kidnapped’. What do you
think happened after Ron met Cindy Breakwell in the old house?
After Ron met Cindy Breakwell in the house he took her back to Ron's place and they went to the Shard and called Cindy Breakwell's dad to come,they had a big feast and they went outside.
ReplyDeleteThey played stuck in the mud and did the whole day as an act. They had so much fun they became friends. Then they got lost on their way home. Luckily Ron had a map so they went back following the map.
Ron's mum and Cindy Breakwell's dad was very scared when they were lost then they saw them coming home and said "we got lost and followed a map".Then they lived happily ever after.THE END

Five minutes later and we were back at Mum’s. “So Ron, where’s the fish and chips?” she asked, eyeing Cindy suspiciously.Half an hour after that Cindy's mum came and she was delighted to see her.Her dad couldn't come because he was the american ambassador . Cindy's mum said"I'm so glad thank you for saving her Ron in fact I'm going to take you to the funfair .The next day there were pictures of me everywhere by magic and i was on the news and the telly.By Shriya

DeleteI couldn't help looking at the old , rusty house. It was ready for demolition which was a shame as we had played there for years. Just then I saw a girl mouthing the word help ! That's how it had happened. I'd broken in round the back through a smashed window. She had only just finished telling me that she was American ambassador 's daughter. Her name was Cindy Breakwell. Right that moment we felt much braver and we started fighting the kidnapper. Crash! Bash! Boom! In one corner I found a large,heavy baseball bat. I slowly creeped upon the kidnapper and hit him on the head.We ran as fast as we could. An hour and a half later(90 mins), we were at the ambassador's house and he called my mum. So then they all went to the Gherkin for a night out (a party) . The next day I got to stay in a hotel with Cindy for one night. Cindy was in the middle , I was on Cindy's (who looked extremely beautiful) right and the ambassador on the left.

There I was hiding behind an old crate. My heart thumping like a bass drum.A torch flickered on then off they listened quietly. Then they went back downstairs. I clambered out the window trying to remember how I got into such a mess. It was only half an hour ago. When mum sent me down to the chippie with a tenner with strict orders for no vinegar on her chips. when I reached the Stroud roundabout I saw a girl mouthing the word HELP!. She had only finished telling me she was the American ambassadors daughter Cindy Breakwell. 5 minutes later we were back at mum's. She said"weres the chips Ron" eyeing Cindy suspicisly. Later the American ambassador came and took us to the shard for a party. Amazingly the next day I was in the lcal paper a hero.

DeleteShe was to busy telling me,that she was the Poland's Ambassador's daughter.After all off that we went back to mum's,then ran's mum called cindy's

Ron climbed in through the broken window and met Cindy Breakwell. Cindy explained what had happened and then they heard foot steps coming up the stairs. the door opened and a torch light lit the room. They held their breath but Ron coughed, the kidnapper pointed the torch towards them. "I have you now!" he said. Cindy and Ron screamed, and jumped out of the window on the ledge and the kidnapper climbed out after them. Ron and Cindy climbed down the wall and as they were, they heard a scream from above, the kidnapper had slipped on the ledge and fell past them onto the ground. He was out for the count. Ron and Cindy ran for a phone box to call the police. within minutes they could hear the sirens and the kidnapper had been caught. Cindy was so happy and the were all reunited with their families and were on tv the next day!

Ron and Cindy Breakwell dashed back to Mums quickly and contacted Cindy's Dad. They wanted him to come and collect Cindy quickly. Then when Cindy's Dad arrived we all went to Snakes and Ladders and had a great party with lots of gigantic balloons. We tucked into a big scrumpcious cake and had yummy drinks.

Ron got into the house through the back door, The kidnapper was sleeping, took cindy through the back door. Cindy and Ron started to run, the kidnapper was running behind them. They saw a bus quiclky jumped on and safely got home.
ReplyDeleteSomebody was coming up the creaky stairs. We hid behind a old dusty crate and the noisy door opened. Someone tiptoed in first it was all silence then a power full torch flicked on. It stabbed the darkness as he nosed into all the hidden corners. We waited carefully. Then he went back down the creaky stairs. As we slid back down the wet gutter I tried to remember how I got into such a mess. Well it had only been half an hour ago when mum had sent me to the chippie with a tenner and strict orders for no vinegar on her chips. When I reached the Stroud roundabout I could not take my eyes of the old house it was ready for demolition witch was a shame because we had played there for many years . Then I saw a girl at the window mouthing a word and the word was HELP. That is when it happened I'd broken in through a smashed window and half a minute later shed just stopped telling me that she was the American ambassador's daughter Cindy Breakwell and when the kidnappers had revenge. Saw there we were when we got of the wet roof police came from all places and asked them a lot of questions about the old house and it took saw long it was about five hours. Then when we got home we got in to a the middle of some information then we got in track with Cindy's father and then he thanked as and went back home the next day I was in the local paper and the kidnappers where all in jail.
