On Friday we were very lucky to have the Tropical Rainforest group from Hounslow Urban Farm visit us. We met lots of interesting animals from the rainforest. What did you find out?
In the ‘tropical rainforest workshop’ I discovered lots of new animals, their habitat and about them. My favourite animal was the Male Lion Rabbit which is called that because it has a golden mane like a lion. My second was the python which strangles its prey and then snaps it with one big bite and my least favourite animal was the venom snake whish shoots out a poisonous substance when angry or frightened. There was also a white bearded dragon which when a predator tries to eat it, it’s chin gets bigger and blacker to, scare the predator!!!
