The best thing about Big Ben class......
We have been talking lots recently about how far you have all come this year. I am very proud of the progress you have made in learning and I have thoroughly enjoyed watching you all grow up into such sensible, caring and funny young people. You all make me smile everyday!
As we start to think about moving into a new year group, it is a good time to consider what has been great about Year 3 and what we love about our very special class.
So, for this weeks post, I would love you to share your thoughts on 'The best things about Big Ben class...'
You could write this in a poem, notes, put it into a story- whatever your imagination thinks is best.
I look forward to reading your ideas!
The best thing for me in year 3 was spending time with the class but most of all with my amazing teacher. I will miss year 3 when I go to year 4 but I am looking forward to doing year four homework and work in class. I really don't want to leave but everyone has to leave some great memories behind sometimes.

I am a person who wants to be a scientist that loves science,
Not a doctor with lots of clients
Science is my favourite topic,
I couldn't go anywhere without it
Miss Gale is the most greatest teacher I have ever known,
For your information we are connected like an ice cream and their cones
You are so nice it makes me smile,
Even though you live further than a mile
We are united as a class,
We will be together as long as we'll last
We will never forget each other,
And we will remember our days forever
We all have different targets,
But that is good
As we will teach each other,
Like good friends should
Maths is good,
It has challenges,
Like it should
But it is so hard,
I couldn't even get a gold bar
Trips are fun
They take place only in the sun
We make them nice
So we can get more wise
We are leaving Y3 to go to year 4
Just so we can learn more
But we hope the others will like year 3
And understand our family tree!
I really liked it when the rainforest animals came because it was fun when I got to touch them. The only thing was we did not get to touch the scorpion but I new that it was dangerous. The next thing I enjoyed was when we were doing rocks , soils and on the last day we talked about volcanoes I liked that a lot is well.

I really like all the exiting trips we go to my best one was going to the tower of London it teached me lots of facts i didn't know about .Sometimes we do role play for our literacy and we get to make our own bridges and balloon carts .In P.E we get to do hokey ,tennis and lots of running and play time .best of all we get to go to swimming the teachers are also the best part. Unluckily you need to pay £1.90 for your school dinners.

ReplyDeleteIn year 3 we went to Buster farm and to river Thames and we had fun together and we learned about Celts and river Thames.We go swimming in year 3.by khadija
ReplyDeleteIn year 3 i enjoyed going to swimming. I also enjoyed the trips we took especially to buttser farm. I also enjoyed maths and English lessons as well. I really liked learning french too. I enjoyed guided reading and also science. And i enjoyed topic as well. My most favorite thing about year 3 was Ms Gale.

ReplyDeleteBut miss gale has been great always smiling if im late she is kind,lovely and hilarios the jokes she tell's are virious my favirot lesson's were play acts,scripts and Art I will take what i've learnt into year four for a start maths,english,out door learnig,DT,golden time and ICT I hope next year will be fabulous as this and i wish you all the best hugs and kisses.By jasleen

I was amazed when the rain forest work-shop came to school it was astounding when we saw all the animals, although I was terribly disappointed because the other class got to see the little turtle and we did not. When we studied rocks and soils I enjoyed learning about rocks and the story of Sammy Soil who was first Richard Rock. As well as that I liked when we learnt about the earths crust, mantle, outer core and inner core.
Topic
In Topic I enjoyed learning about Anglo-Saxons, Romans and the Celts. I learnt that the Celts came first, the Romans came second and the Anglo-Saxons came last, and I found out that the Vikings came after the Anglo-Saxons. The trip to Butser Ancient farm was great too as we got to weave in and out to make celtic walls, and the weaving is actually known as Wotteling - also I loved it as my Dad came on the trip!
My last best thing about Big Ben Class is spending time with all my friends and especially with Miss Gale who is the best teacher ever.

I also liked it when we went on school trips like the first one, well we did not go on are first trip because the train had broke down but the second one was not so bad . In the second one we went to the river Thames to learn about rivers. We also went to Buster Ancient farm to learn about the Romans and Celts where we got to do different activities and learned different things.
ReplyDeleteTalking about activates I liked the Rain forest workshop where we got to touch different animals and my favorites were the tranchula, mouse, pi-then and the scorpion but we did not get to touch because I think it was in a bad mood. There was also some other scary creatures but if I was allowed to I could go there every day because I really like animals from the rain forest. I really enjoyed times when we make things like bridge but we could not.
In subjects I liked maths the most but I enjoyed all the other subjects to like literacy, topic, science, Art and DT I think they are the only things we learn t but in all the subjects I enjoyed at least one thing.
But most of all I enjoyed doing those stuff with miss Gale who was the best teacher ever and that is what made all these stuff special.
I really liked it in this class about when we played nicely because even thoe we did have some fights made of a tiny things witch made children upset and made Miss Gale have to sort it out but we did not want to fight.
